Fly!

This new addition to The Merry Bird site, brought me to a new thought, the importance of a logo.

How many business' are running out there that cannot capture the feeling of a customer? There may be nothing wrong with the products, or the business itself. It may be the logo that needs help.

For example, why do you think NIKE is such a successful brand? The logo is known world wide. You may not even see the logo on a sneaker. You may see it on a shirt or sport bag, but wherever you see it, you always know that the company represented is NIKE.

Another part of the NIKE logo that made it successful is the well known caption put with it... "Just do it". One powerful logo and it's caption remains today one of the most powerful tools in selling the NIKE product line. Isn't it great that I just used this logo as an example of a powerful selling tool and advertised for the company free as well? LOL

Wouldn't it be something if your company logo kicked ass this way? The question remains, how do businesses capture customers? First have a memorable logo for the company, second, have a logo caption that calls them to purchase from the company, and third have a logo that reminds them the company is there for them anytime.

Hence, the importance of a logo. Now does your company logo reach people this way? What makes it powerful? What makes it weak? How do people respond to it overall?
